On 24 July 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 167p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,600,675 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,892,496 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
