On 4 June 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 118,675 ordinary shares at a price of 167p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,360,675 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,132,496 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
