On 8 September 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 100,164 ordinary shares at a price of 176.38p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,470,698 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,022,473 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
