On 16 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 12,017 ordinary shares at a price of 167.04p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,857,675 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,725,527 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
