On 30 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 30,000 ordinary shares at a price of 179.99p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,587,088 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,996,114 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
