On 22 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 64,309 ordinary shares at a price of 230.05p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,577,244 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,005,958 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
