Board Changes

McBride plc ("McBride" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Regi Aalstad as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 14 March 2022.

Regi has extensive leadership experience in global fast moving consumer goods. She has held Regional General Manager and Vice President positions with Procter & Gamble in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Regi is a Non-Executive Director at Ontex Group NV and in several tech start-ups. She also works as an advisor to Private Equity and to global strategy consultancies. Regi holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, USA. 

She previously held Non-Executive Director positions at Telenor ASA, and Geberit AG and was the Chair of an international NGO.

Regi will serve as a member of the Nomination, Remuneration and Audit & Risk Committees.  Regi's appointment satisfies the requirements of Provision 24 of the UK Corporate Governance Code.

Steve Hannam, Senior Independent Non-executive Director, having served nine years, will be stepping down from the Board immediately following the annual general meeting on 18^th October 2022. Succession planning for his role as Senior Independent Director is underway and at the end of this process we should be in a position to release further information regarding the appointment of a new Senior Independent Director.

McBride has been notified that there are no further details to be disclosed in respect of Regi Aalstad pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority and this announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11.
