                         Appointment of a CEO-designate

Photo-Me (PHTM.L), the digital imaging company, announces the appointment of
Thierry Barel as CEO-designate. He will be appointed CEO when Serge Crasnianski
steps down.

Thierry Barel, aged 46, is a French national and has been in charge of
Photo-Me's minilab manufacturing activity since April 2007. Previously, he was
at StTM?ubli Group from 1984 to 2006, latterly as Chief Executive Officer from
2005 to 2006 and as Corporate Development Officer and member of the Group
Executive Committee from 2001 to 2004. The Swiss-based StTM?ubli Group is
involved in mechatronics (textile machinery, robotics and industrial
connectors); in 2006, it had a turnover of SFr1bn, sales units in 24 countries,
13 production units and 3,500 employees. Thierry Barel graduated as an engineer
from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts et Metiers (ENSAM) in 1983 and speaks
five languages - French, English, Italian, Portuguese and German. When at StTM?
ubli Group, he worked in Switzerland, France, the USA and Brazil.

David Young, Chairman, said: 'The Board is delighted at Thierry Barel's
appointment, after a search conducted internally and externally by leading
recruitment consultants. Thierry Barel is well qualified for the CEO's role,
having run an international group twice the size of Photo-Me, possessing a
technological background, and having spent most of his life in Continental
Europe, which is the base of Photo-Me's manufacturing activities and the origin
of most of the profit of its vending activities. He has much less to learn about
the Group than an external appointee, yet is new enough to the Group to have,
and be receptive to, fresh ideas.'

Serge Crasnianski added: 'I am very proud of what has been built at Photo-Me
over very many years and I am confident that Thierry Barel will bring the
focussed strategic and operational leadership to take the Company forward
successfully.'
