Withdrawal of EGM Requisition
The Board of PMI (PHTM.L), the digital imaging company, is pleased to confirm
that, following PMI's Preliminary Announcement of 2 July 2007 and further
discussions with Principle Capital Fund Managers Ltd and QVT Financial LP, the
EGM Requisition, which was announced by Principle Capital on 25 June 2007, has
been withdrawn.
As disclosed in the Preliminary Announcement, the PMI Board is continuing to
explore whether an acceptable offer might be achievable for PMI's Vending
Division. The PMI Board will provide the market with an update as to whether it
intends to continue with the potential disposal of the Vending Division on or
before 15 August 2007.
Vernon Sankey, Chairman, stated 'The PMI Board unanimously welcomes the fact
that Principle has dropped its request for an EGM. The Board can now continue to
act in the best interests of all shareholders and explore whether an acceptable
offer might be achievable for PMI's Vending Division. Should the strong interest
in the Vending Division translate into a transaction that is recommended by the
Board, then shareholders will have an opportunity to vote on the matter.'
