Important US Repeat Business for Minilabs
The Board of PMI (PHTM.L), the digital imaging company, announces that KIS S.A.,
PMI's minilab manufacturing subsidiary, and CVS Pharmacy, the largest retail
pharmacy in the USA, where it operates approximately 6,200 retail and speciality
pharmacy stores in 38 states, have reached agreement for the exclusive supply of
minilabs for the third successive year. Deliveries, of the third generation DKS
1670 model, will start again in January 2008.
Serge Crasnianski, PMI's Chief Executive, stated 'This further repeat business
with CVS is a great accolade for the Group's minilabs, which unprecedentedly
have won DIMA (Digital Imaging Marketing Association) awards for minilab quality
- the world's most prestigious - in each of the past five years.'
Thierry Barel, President of KIS, added 'More than renewing the agreement, CVS
has confirmed its trust in our product and our company. This is a tremendous
encouragement to pursue our investments and develop our position on the US
market. Thanks to our ability to distribute our entire range of products, in
particular minilabs, digital media kiosks and on-site album-making machines, KIS
reinforces its capacity to become the complete supplier of choice for many other
major retailers'
