             MCINERNEY HOLDINGS PLC APPOINTS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

                       Donal Roche Joins McInerney Board.



McInerney Holdings plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Donal Roche as
a non executive Director to its Board with immediate effect.



Mr Roche (51) a qualified solicitor from TCD, is currently Chairman of Appian
Wealth Management Ltd.  From 1995 to 2003, he was Managing Partner of Matheson
Ormsby Prentice solicitors where he also held the position of Head of the
Commercial and Corporate Finance Group.



Mr Roche is a Board Member of Eircom Group plc since 1994 and his other
non-executive directorships include Newcourt Capital Limited, Pepsico (Ireland)
Limited, Kappa Consultants Limited and a number of other private companies. Mr
Roche is also a member of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland.



Announcing the appointment, Mr Barry O'Connor, Managing Director, McInerney
Holdings plc stated:
