Cater Barnard PLC 12 March 2004 CATER BARNARD PLC ('Cater Barnard' or 'the Company') Result of Annual General Meeting At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, all the resolutions on the Notice of Meeting were duly passed, except Resolution 2 for the re-election of Stephen Dean as a director of the Company, which was withdrawn following the resignation by Mr Dean from the Board on 17th February 2004. At the meeting the Chairman, David Williams, said the following: 'I am pleased to confirm that your Board is well advanced in establishing the Company on a new footing and direction in the Property Services Sector. We have secured a number of 'Blue Chip' investors who understand and are committed to the new direction in which we are now proceeding. Having secured Navitas Hemway as one of the key foundation stones to our business, I can confirm that in addition to working with the management of Navitas Hemway to accelerate its organic growth, we are actively pursuing a number of acquisition candidates which will provide additional momentum and growth in this connection. We expect to make further announcements in the near future. Our objective is to do everything we can to position the Company for a successful and profitable 2005. All our people are highly experienced and skilled in the Property Services Sector and with these skills and our new investors, I am confident of a bright future to build shareholder value.'
