                                New Contract Win

Mercury Group plc, the property services group, is delighted to announce that
its project management subsidiary, TelCo Solutions ('Telco'), has secured a
contract to manage the roll-out of a major new hotels programme with Harrell
Hotels (Europe) Limited ('Harrell Hotels'). The capital investment in the
programme will be in excess of £180m over its initial three year period and
therefore, this represents a substantial contract for TelCo.

TelCo will act as strategic project managers for Harrell Hotels in the roll-out
of an initial10 new hotels under the Courtyard brand. Harrell Hotels holds the
franchising rights in the UK to develop and manage the Courtyard hotel brand,
which is owned by Marriott International, Inc.

As well as locating suitable sites, TelCo will be responsible for commissioning
and performing surveys and feasibility studies. It will also be responsible for
the appointment and management of all other professional advisers involved in
the roll-out.

The contract will also utilize the services offered by Mercury's other
subsidiary companies, Smith Melzac Pepper Angliss, the commercial property
agency, and Navitas Hemway, the facilities management provider.
