MEDIA CONTENT PLC ACQUIRES 25% STAKE IN SPORTEV.COM
Media Content PLC, through its investment arm Media Content
Development Ltd, today announces the acquisition of a 25%
stake in sportev.com, a new global sports webcasting company
which plans to build a global platform to deliver live and
highlighted sports to the web consumer world-wide.
In consideration for 25% of the Ordinary Shares in sportev.com,
Media Content will pay £350,000 in cash and extend a loan of
£400,000 to the Company for the acquisition of webcasting
rights.
In parallel, sportev.com has also retained Media Content Sports
Media Advisors Ltd as its exclusive webcasting rights
acquisition advisor.
Jean Paul De la Fuente, CEO of Media Content and Jean-Francois
Denis, Managing Director at Media Content, will join the
sportev board along with Bill Muirhead, founding partner of
M&C Saatchi, and David Montgomery, formerly of the Mirror
Group, who join as non-executive directors.
