Distribution deal agreed for Volleyball World Championship
Media Content PLC announces that it has been appointed by Cross Trading S.A. as
exclusive media rights representative for 15 European territories for the FIVB
2002 Volleyball World Championship.

FIVB Volleyball World Championship
The 2002 FIVB Volleyball World Championship for Men will take place in Argentina
from 28 September to 13 October 2002. 24 teams from countries around the world
will be participating in the largest-ever World Championship, an event which
takes place every four years and is the most important moment in the Volleyball
calendar.
Cross Trading S.A.
Cross Trading S.A. is (jointly with ESPN) the exclusive worldwide rightsholder
for the FIVB 2002 World Volleyball Championship, with a branch in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, an independent sports television and marketing company, founded in
1996 by Hugo Jinkis, a veteran of the Latin American sports broadcasting
industry.
