Issue of new ordinary shares

MedicX Fund (LSE: MXF), the specialist primary care infrastructure investor in modern, purpose-built, primary healthcare properties in the United Kingdom, announces that yesterday it issued for cash 1,100,000 new ordinary shares of no par value in the Company (the "New Shares").  The issue price per New Share (before expenses) is 72.75 pence.

The net proceeds will be used in further pursuing the investment objectives of the Company.

The New Shares will be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities pursuant to the block listing application announced by the Company on 26 June 2008.

Following this issue, the Company has 142,417,110 ordinary shares in issue.
