THE MERCANTILE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

SECOND QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

The Directors have declared that a second quarterly dividend of 10.00p per share will be paid on 2^nd November 2015 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 2^nd October 2015.  The ex-dividend date will be 1^st October 2015.  Please note this payment will include a Dividend Re-investment Plan facility, for which the election date will be 12^th October 2015.
