Mercia Technologies PLC (AIM: MERC), the national investment group focused on the creation, identification, funding and scaling of innovative technology businesses with high growth potential from the UK regions, announces that it has received a notification of the following transactions relating to Ordinary shares of £0.00001 each in the capital of Mercia ("Ordinary Shares") by a Director and a person closely associated with them.
For tax planning purposes Susan Searle, the Non-executive Chair of the Company, sold 120,000 shares at 31.5p per share all of which were bought, at the same price, by her spouse's self-invested pension plan. Following this transaction Susan Searle and her spouse continue to hold 1,097,388 Ordinary Shares in aggregate, equivalent to 0.36 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary share capital.[1]
