HUVEAUX PLC ('Huveaux' or 'the Company')

Following the admission to trading of a further 35,000,000 ordinary shares of
Huveaux, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd notified the Company
on 9 June 2004 that they are interested in 10,515,384 ordinary shares of
Huveaux. For the purposes of Part VI of the Companies Act 1985, 9,872,838 shares
are material interests, representing 9.273% of the issued share capital.

The shares are registered in State Street Nominees Ltd
