Metals Exploration PLC (the "Company") announces that it has issued
and allotted 200,000 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each pursuant to a
memorandum agreement dated 1st February 2005 between the Company and
Christian Mining Inc ("CMI").
The new Ordinary Shares represent part of the final instalment of the
consideration payable for the purchase from CMI of 20% of FCF Mining
Corporation, which holds the Mining Rights in the Runruno gold-moly
project in the Philippines. The other part of the consideration is
in the form of a cash payment of US$20,000.
The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing
Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company and trading of these shares
on AIM is expected to commence on the 13th February 2008.
The Company's issued share capital consists of 91,773,795 ordinary
shares of 1p each, with one voting right per share. There are no
shares held in treasury.
