Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Michelmersh Brick Holdings PLC (AIM: MBH), the specialist brick manufacturer, is pleased to announce that Paula Hay-Plumb will be joining the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director at the Board meeting later today, 18th June 2020. In addition, Paula will chair the audit committee and sit on the nomination and remuneration committees.
Paula has extensive directorship experience and currently sits on the Board of a number of prominent organisations in the property sector. Paula is a Commissioner and Non-Executive Board member of The Crown Estate, the £14.3 billion UK real estate business, and a Non-Executive Director of Hyde Housing Association, a leading provider of affordable housing in London and the South East of England. In addition, Paula holds non-executive positions at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust plc, as well as being a Trustee of Calthorpe Estates.
In her executive career, Paula was Corporate Finance and Group Reporting Director at Marks & Spencer Plc, between 2003 and 2005, and an Executive Director and Board member of English Partnerships, the UK government backed regeneration agency, from 1994 to 2002, Chief Executive from 1999.
Paula is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
