E-DISTRICT SIGNS
AGREEMENT WITH NTL
e-district.net plc, a leading provider of global interactive entertainment
services and related applications, today announced that it is to provide
entertainment content for ntl's internet and interactive TV services.
e-district is the owner of the popular LeisureDistrict entertainment service
and the operator of the global LeisureDistrict Network. Under the terms of the
agreement, users will be able to access the LeisureDistrict Network through
ntl's Interactive TV Service and the ntlworld ISP. e-district will provide a
comprehensive selection of content, including games, virtual pets, virtual
flowers and a virtual library.
ntl is the latest in a series of high profile organisations to partner with e-
district to provide interactive entertainment to its users through the
LeisureDistrict Network. Similar agreements have recently been signed in the
UK with Telewest plc, Bush Internet, Planetweb, Freeserve and in the US with
Worldgate Communications Inc.
