MITIE GROUP PLC ('MITIE')
MITIE announces that it has agreed to a acquire 60% of
the issued share capital of The McCartney Group Ltd
('McCartney') and its associated companies for a
consideration of £2.8m, to be satisfied by the issue of
904,047 new ordinary shares of 5p each in MITIE ('MITIE
Shares') and the balance of £87,864 in cash.
McCartney's principal activity is the supply and
installation of contract fire protection in the United
Kingdom.
Application will be made imminently for the 904,047 MITIE
Shares to be admitted to the Official List, maintained by
the UK Listing Authority, and to trading by the London
Stock Exchange. Upon admission these MITIE shares will
rank pari passu with the existing MITIE Shares.
