Directorate changes

As announced on 19 May 2008, MITIE Group PLC confirms that the following directorate changes are effective from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting that took place today:

• David Ord retires as Chairman and as a director;

• Cullum McAlpine retires as a director, Senior Independent Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee;

• Roger Matthews is appointed as Chairman of MITIE Group PLC;

• David Jenkins is appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as Senior Independent Non Executive Director and steps down as the Chairman of the Nomination Committee;

• Roger Matthews is appointed as Chairman of the Nomination Committee.
