Trading statement
MITIE Group PLC is pleased to confirm that it has had a satisfactory conclusion
to its financial year and continues to trade in line with management's
expectations. Last year's acquisitions are now fully integrated and are
contributing well.
The share buyback programme has continued. To date the Company has purchased a
total of 10,310,006 MITIE shares at an average price of 144.64p. The highest and
lowest prices paid for such MITIE shares were 131p and 165p respectively. All
MITIE shares purchased have been (or will be) subsequently cancelled.
MITIE will report more fully when it announces its preliminary results for the
year ending 31 March 2005 on Monday 23 May 2005.
