Notification of interests of directors


The Company was advised today, that on 04/12/2001, the Directors listed below
acquired Ordinary Shares in the Company at a purchase price of £11.15 per
Ordinary Share through a Profit Sharing Employee Share Ownership Scheme, which
has been approved by the Inland Revenue.  Their previous and current share
holdings, including those held by Related Persons, are as follows:
