The Company have been advised today that on 5 September 2003, the Directors
listed below acquired Ordinary Shares in the Company at a purchase price of
£12.925 per Ordinary Share through a Profit Sharing Employee Share Ownership
Scheme, which has been approved by the Inland Revenue.  Their previous and
current share holdings, including those held by related persons, are as follows:
