18 June 2024 - Moat Homes Limited announces new Chief Executive

Moat has announced Gavin Cansfield as its new Chief Executive.

Gavin will join Moat, a leading housing association managing over 22,000 homes across southeast England. His appointment follows a rigorous and competitive recruitment process, carried out by Moat's Board and a customer-led panel.

Gavin is currently Chief Executive at Settle group which owns and manages over 10,000 homes. Gavin has headed up the Hertfordshire-based housing association since 2015, drawing upon 30 years of housing experience.

Steve White, Moat's Chair, said "Gavin brings a wealth of experience to this role, and we're delighted to welcome him to Moat. He proved to be a stand-out candidate who shares our vision and dedication to achieving excellence in all we do. We look forward to working with him to provide great homes, services, and communities for our customers."
