London, UK - 13 October 2008 - Mobile Streams, the global mobile content company, has struck a deal with US premium television network, Home Box Office (HBO), to mobilise content from its stable of hit TV shows including the multi-award-winning 'Sex and the City'.

The global mobile distribution agreement, excluding USA and Canada, is a testament to Mobile Streams' key position in the mobile content market. As part of the deal, HBO content will be distributed via Mobile Streams on and off portal distribution channels in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific and Mobile Streams will also be able to represent HBO content to other off portal channels including those of third parties.

Mobile Streams will be mobilising content from 'Sex and the City' and other popular HBO programmes such as the critically acclaimed, 'The Wire'; 'The Sopranos'; 'Rome', 'Flight of the Conchords' and 'Entourage', the 5th season of which is currently broadcasting in the US.  Ringtones from theme songs of HBO shows and voicetones are expected to be a huge hit with well-known sayings from Tony Soprano and others being available to download.

'How about having Carrie or Big on your phone all day keeping you company?' suggested Simon Buckingham, CEO of Mobile Streams, 'Now mobile users around the world can download content from this and other award-winning HBO programmes direct to their handsets!'

In addition to voicetones, consumers will be able to download a range of wallpaper images and ringtones (including theme tunes) through Mobile Streams' vast network of mobile operators, including 3, Vodafone, Movistar, Optus, SingTel, Telcel, Telefonica and TIM. The content will also be available via Mobile Streams popular direct to consumer portals such as: www.mobileWallpapers.com and Ringtones.com.  

Mobile Streams is a one stop shop for quality content owners such as HBO who can simply deliver their content once to Mobile Streams' central mobile content studio based in Germany. The content is then ingested and encoded and delivered to all cleared distribution channels around the world. Reporting is then also centralised for ease of royalty reporting and invoicing.
