Annual General Meeting Announcement
Mobile Streams plc, ('Mobile Streams' or 'the Company'), the global mobile content retailer, today held its Annual General Meeting and all resolutions were duly passed. The Chairman, Roger Parry, makes the following statement:
"Since the start of 2010, Mobile Streams has made further progress in expanding its distribution network, increasing its content library and rapidly growing its mobile internet retailing business through its Ringtones.com™ brand.
We continue to invest in growing the business in a number of areas. In particular we are developing products designed to meet the needs of smartphone applications ("apps") customers, developers and distributors. This will include an app community and commerce web site, www.appitalism.com™, to be launched in the coming months. We also continue to invest in mobile internet subscriber acquisition, particularly in Latin America where the subscriber base now exceeds 180,000. These investments are funded by a combination of operational cash flows and available cash resources.
The Board continues to be excited about the developmental and growth prospects of the business and looks forward to updating its shareholders with progress in due course."
