MIDAS INCOME AND GROWTH TRUST PLC

On 3 June 2008 Midas Income and Growth Trust PLC bought back 50,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 138.5 pence per share. Following the buy back, there are 43,519,950 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
