Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the
market of the following:



Midas Income & Growth Trust PLC consists of 33,633,125 ordinary 25p shares with
voting rights.  Midas Income & Growth holds nil ordinary shares in Treasury.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Midas Income & Growth is
33,633,125.



The above figure 33,633,125 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Midas Income & Growth under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency.
