Peter Duffy of Just Eat appointed CEO of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC

Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC ("Moneysupermarket" or the "Group") announces the appointment of Peter Duffy as Chief Executive Officer. Peter will succeed Mark Lewis who, as announced in February, is stepping down as CEO.

Peter Duffy is currently CEO of Just Eat Limited (previously known as Just Eat plc¹) and before that was Chief Commercial Officer at easyJet and Marketing Director of Audi UK. Peter started his career in banking, holding positions with Barclays, Yorkshire Bank and TSB. He is a Non-Executive Director of Close Brothers Group plc, where he is a member of the Risk Committee.  

Peter Duffy will take up the position of CEO and join the Board on 1 September 2020, subject to normal regulatory approvals². 

Robin Freestone, Chair of Moneysupermarket, said:

Peter Duffy added:

Mark Lewis will step down as CEO on 31 August 2020 and will leave the Group thereafter. 

There is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R relating to Peter Duffy.

Peter Duffy's appointment terms are in accordance with the remuneration policy approved by shareholders.
