                      MORGAN ASHURST TO BUILD £25 MILLION

                              COLLEGE IN BRACKNELL


Morgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, announces today
that Morgan Ashurst, its construction division, has been awarded a £25 million
scheme to redevelop Bracknell and Wokingham College in Bracknell, Berkshire.


The design and build contract will see Morgan Ashurst constructing an
eight-storey reinforced concrete frame building. It will feature teaching and
seminar rooms, a multi-purpose sports hall, staffrooms and a learning resource
centre. A three-storey steel-frame building will also be constructed to house
classrooms and a car workshop.


The existing Bracknell and Wokingham College will be demolished and landscaping
undertaken when the new building is complete. Work is due to finish in December
2009.

appointed to work on the East Dunbartonshire schools PPP scheme, the
redevelopment framework at the University of Reading, and schools frameworks for
