Morgan Sindall Group appointed preferred developer
for £38m Towcester Regeneration Project
Morgan Sindall Group plc announces today that its investment division Morgan Sindall Investments Limited ('MSIL'), has been appointed as preferred developer for South Northamptonshire Council's Towcester Regeneration and Civic Accommodation Project. MSIL will deliver the project in partnership with the Group's Affordable Housing division, Lovell Partnerships, and with the Construction and Infrastructure division, Morgan Sindall plc.
The project is valued at £38 million and includes 3,800 sq m new build civic offices to be built by Morgan Sindall plc funded by:
· residential development by Lovell Partnerships and Clayson Country Homes
· commercial development to be built by Morgan Sindall plc including a supermarket, small retail outlet, industrial units and offices
· conversion of a listed mill building for commercial uses.
In addition, Morgan Sindall plc will be undertaking archaeological works on site as well as demolishing existing structures and creating a new link road.
