Mothercare plc (the 'Company')
Completion of Acquisition of Chelsea Stores Holdings Limited ('CSHL')
Further to the Company's announcement of 28 April 2007, the Company announces
that it has issued 13,809,494 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in the capital of
the Company (the 'New Mothercare Shares') in accordance with the terms of the
acquisition of CSHL ('Acquisition') as described in the circular to shareholders
dated 25 May 2007.
Application has been made for the New Mothercare Shares to be admitted to the
Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange ('Admission').
Admission is expected to take place, dealing in the New Mothercare Shares will
commence and completion of the Acquisition will occur at 8.00 a.m. on 19 June
2007.
