Mothercare plc advises that Mr Cull has exercised 2,000 Executive Share Options
originally granted in June 2002 at a price of 207p per share and 10,600
Executive Share Options originally granted in May 2001 at a price of 300p per
share. All the shares have subsequently been sold. The sale price was 360p.
