Mothercare plc announce that Mr Ian R Peacock (Chairman of the Company) and his
wife, Mrs Alyanee Peacock have today jointly purchased 30,000 Mothercare
ordinary 50p shares at a price of 86p per share. The purchase is equivalent to
0.042% of the Company's issued share capital.
