BETINTERNET.COM PLC
('the company' or 'betinternet')
Announcement of Board Change
The Board of betinternet.com plc ('betinternet.com'), the global on-line
gaming group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Ian Nicholls as an
Executive Director with responsibility for the group's Pari-Mutuel operation,
European Wagering Services ('EWS'). Simon, who is 37, joined the group in
March 2005 as chief operating officer of EWS. He was previously Managing
Director of GG.com and prior to that worked for Weatherbys, the Secretariat for
UK racing.
Since Simon's arrival at EWS, he has been responsible for overseeing the
reorganisation of that business as well as establishing a road map for its
future growth, which has resulted in increased turnover at a robust margin.
Managing Director, Garry Knowles said today: 'I am delighted to welcome Simon
onto the board of betinternet.com. He has quickly recognised the business
opportunities within the Pari-Mutuel industry and has demonstrated that he can
take advantage of these opportunities for the benefit of the group.'
No other information in respect of Simon Nicholls is required to be disclosed
under Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules.
