                 Angela Heylin to Retire from Mothercare Board

Angela Heylin has today announced her retirement from the board of Mothercare
after nearly eight years service.

Ian Peacock, Chairman of Mothercare, said:


'Angela has provided critical support and counsel to Mothercare over the years,
particularly during the recent transformation of the company. On behalf of the
Board I would like to thank her for this contribution and wish her the very best
for the future.'
