                       Appointment of Sportsbook Director

The Board of betinternet, the global on-line gaming group, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Garry Richard Knowles as an Executive Director
responsible for the sportsbook. Garry, who is 38, joined the company in November
2003 as Head of trading operations. He previously worked for international
casino group MGM Mirage as a Director of Customer Relations. Hitherto he worked
15 years for bookmakers, William Hill.

Since his arrival at betinternet he has been instrumental in increasing margins
and profitability. He has also introduced live casino games to the website and a
new skill-based internet football game.

Managing Director Paul Doona said today: 'Garry has made a big impact and is
driving the business forward in new business development to take advantage of
exciting prospects in the industry.'

No other information in respect of Garry Knowles is required to be disclosed
under Schedule Two (f) of the AIM Rules.
