We write to inform you that, we have been notified today, that the Trustees of
the Mothercare Employee Trust have acquired 16,794 Mothercare Ordinary Shares of
50p each, at a price of £3.99 per share.
The shares are to be utilised by the Trust for equity incentives throughout the
Mothercare business. The executive directors (and other persons discharging
management responsibilities) of Mothercare plc are deemed to be interested in
all of the shares held by the Trust which now amount to 3,498,783 shares or
4.01% of the issued share capital.
