Horse Racing Sponsorship - Update
The Board of Webis Holdings plc, the global on-line gaming group, is pleased to
announce that it has extended its sponsorship with Newmarket racecourse to
include seven further races in May 2008.
In addition to the previously announced sponsorship of six races from Newmarket
on Friday 16 May, the Company will now also be sponsoring all seven races from
the course on Saturday 17 May.
Three of these races will be shown live on Channel 4, with the entire card being
covered by Racing UK.
The highlight of the card will be the betinternet.com Heritage Handicap Stakes,
which has a total prize fund of £40,000.
On both days, the Company will have complete branding coverage throughout the
racecourse and paddock areas. All races will be branded under the Company's
sportsbook portal, betinternet.com.
