Appointment of Non-executive Director

 

 

Mothercare plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Brav as a non-executive director.  Angela joins the Board with effect from 1 January 2013.

 

Angela is Chief Executive Officer, Europe of Intercontinental Hotels Group Inc, a position she has held since 2011.  Angela has held various senior roles within the group since joining in 1991. 

 

Commenting on the appointment, Alan Parker CBE, Chairman, said:

"I am delighted that Angela is joining the Mothercare Board.  As a non-executive director  Angela's extensive knowledge of operating a global hotel and hospitality organisation in a chief executive role and her knowledge of franchising will be a valuable asset to the Company as we deliver our Transformation and Growth plan.

 

Angela Brav said:

"I am excited to be joining the Board of Mothercare plc, and look forward to working with Alan and the other members of the Board in providing support to Simon Calver and his executive team at this important time in the development of the Company."
