Mothercare plc announces that, in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it has been advised by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited that its holding in the company has decreased and crossed through the 5% threshold to 4.34%. 

The number of shares held by Aberdeen Asset Management plc now comprises 3,850,754 ordinary Mothercare plc 50p shares.
