Mothercare plc announces that in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it has been advised by UBS Investment Bank that UBS AG London Branch has a holding in the Company that has crossed through the 3% threshold to 3.83%.

The number of shares held by UBS AG London Branch now comprises 3,391,802 ordinary Mothercare plc 50p shares.
