MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 12 October 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 20,000 of
its own ordinary shares at 463.5p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
68,782,046 ordinary shares of 25p each.
