Application for Block Listing

The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing of 3,274,972 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") which will, when issued, rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.  Admission is expected to take effect tomorrow, 21 November 2012.

Shares may be issued under the block listing facility for general business purposes subject both to guidelines laid down by the Board and to the usual shareholder authorities, and in accordance with the Company's Articles of Association.  Any Shares issued in connection with the block listing application will be issued at prices which shall be at a premium to the prevailing net asset value and therefore will not result in a dilution of the net asset value per share of the Company.
