Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus Franklin as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2024.

Angus Franklin is a former investment partner of Baillie Gifford & Co, where he worked for 28 years until April 2022, primarily managing portfolios of international equities. Latterly, he was head of the international alpha investment strategy and chaired the firm's investment management group. His previous responsibilities at Baillie Gifford & Co. included membership of the firm's management committee and chairing the audit committee.

Peter Tait, Chair of the Company, said: "The Directors are delighted to welcome Angus to the Board. Angus brings to the Board considerable investment experience after a long and distinguished career at Baillie Gifford & Co. We, as a Board, look forward to working closely with him over the next few years.

There are no disclosures required to be made for Angus Franklin in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13R (1) - (6) of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.

Angus Franklin and his persons closely associated do not own any Ordinary shares in the Company.
