MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 24 June 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 50,000 of its
own ordinary shares at 434p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
69,567,458 ordinary shares of 25p each.
